How many Russian Jobs cost? Do you know what the official salary president of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin is? I know, it's $2,000 a month. An ordinary charwoman gets $ 20 a month, sometimes more, sometimes less.

In Russia most jobs (basically decent) can be never found on the so-called "open market". There are several reasons for that. For example the reason may be like this. Nearly the whole Russian economics (especially that part that actively works and not passive) is to some extent in the "shadow", i.e. it has many illegal aspects in its activity.

Even 10 years ago we could not imagine that such notions as shortage of jobs, labor exchange, placement agencies would become reality in Russia. In the past each graduating student could expect to receive a job with the minimum salary of some $150. But for the last ten years the situation in Russia changed. Moscow has acquired capitalist features and now it is like any other western megalopolis. And the market problems appeared in Russia are similar to those abroad.

These words characterize Russian people very exactly. It must be confessed that Russian people are by no means industrious or hardworking, especially if they are not their own masters.
A Russian always tries to get away from working. A typical scene in Russia is when one person is digging and seven others are standing nearby watching him and giving advices.

Who controls keeping strictly to the established order, observing laws, and administering justice in Russia? Russian Militia, of course.
To receive a jobs in Russian militia it is very difficult.
While working in militia I saw and learnt a lot, though what I have learnt is not a secret for most people in Russia. The Russian Militia is very corrupted organization in Russia. There you can buy everything starting with inspection document on your car (in my town it is $15) and ending with freedom for killers.

Prostitution in Russia really exists and is developing very quickly. There are no laws forbidding prostitution and there are no laws of its legalization. Even last year the range of such kind of activity was not so great as it is today.
Shortage of jobs in Russia forced Russian women to seek jobs in streets of Moscow and other large cities of Russia despite danger of illness and cruelty of whoremasters.
